Couture Cupcakes - Magnolia Bakery and Sex & the City started the craze and it has not stopped, check out www.flickr.com, type in cupcakes and have a look at the amazing cupcake creations that people are making at home. This cupcake workshop is fun and a great starting point for beginners or anyone wanting to learn how to decorate with Butter cream. We will be starting with a demonstration on how to make Butter cream from scratch; we will be making fashionable icing decorations suitable for children and adults alike. Finally you will be learning and mastering Butter cream icing techniques including the wonderful whip you see on designer Butter cream cupcakes. This is a hands on class, there is no need to bring any equipment or have any prior knowledge of decorating or baking, class sizes are limited to 8 student’s maximum and an enjoyable lunch is provided. Classes - 18th April 2009 11am - 2pm

Chocolate fudge cake & Moist Layers of Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing. This is a hands on class, students will learn to make the cake and learn how to make and ice the cakes. Each student will take home two cakes each class sizes are limited to 8 student’s maximum and an enjoyable lunch is provided.
